Can I have some information on the Academic Programme?
Our Cool Kids Course is a mixed-level group for our youngest learners aged 6 to 10. Particular emphasis will be placed on oral communication and the ability to understand and express oneself through simple, basic English. Some learners may not know how to read and write yet. Vocabulary-building and the introduction of functional language will play a large part in this programme to broaden learners’ lexical knowledge and in turn, promote confidence using the English language. Emphasis will also be placed from the very beginning on pronunciation skills, vital in language learning.
The teaching of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation will be done mainly through listening and speaking activities, such as simple conversations, word repetition, rhymes, songs, audiovisual, storytelling, memory games, word and image matching games, board games, charades, and mining, dressing up and drama, roleplay, arts and crafts, cooking/baking, outdoor games, etc.
