Welcome to The Slaney Language Centre, a small English School in Ireland, located in the centre of the traditional Irish town of Wexford!

We are a privately run Regional English Language Education Provider. We offer a friendly learning environment. Our language school emphasises a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Year round classes are intentionally kept small, often around 6 to 8 students, so learners receive more personal attention and have more opportunities to contribute actively in class.

The Slaney Language Centre was established in 1999. We have over 25 years of experience in English Language Training. Lisa, the founder and Managing Director of the school, takes pride in the professional and personal approach of our language school. Students from many countries study at The Slaney Language Centre, helping learners improve intercultural communcation and making friends.

Our Summer Junior Centre is located only 5 minute walk from our main centre, run by Esteban, the co-director and group manager. The wellbeing of our younger learners is at the heart of Esteban’s work as Centre Manager. During Easter and summer, the school welcomes students from 6 to 99 years of age. All year round we offer fantastic mini-stay programmes for school groups and language courses for adults.

We are members of the leading Irish Language School Association English Language Education (formerly MEI). Our fully qualified and experienced English language teachers are motivated, enthusiastic and interested in each student’s progress. You will receive a warm welcome at our Language School in Ireland and quickly gain confidence in a relaxed, friendly and encouraging environment.
