Adult English Language Family Course – including IELTS Preparation
€0
About this course
The language course develops all aspects of the English language including Speaking, Pronunciation, Listening, Reading, and Writing. The focus is on improving the student’s ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
We use the text-book ‘New English File’ for our adult classes. While adult classes are based on the textbook, our teachers try to connect to your life and interests. The focus is on language use, rather than memorizing (grammar). We believe that learning a language means developing active, engaged learners who can take control of their leraning and link their classroom learning experience to life outside the class.
Every day you have two course parts taught by two different teachers to give you exposure to different accents and teaching styles.
Friday’s classes focus on IELTS exam preparation (for lower level we chose the TIE exam instead) which is beneficial also for students who do not wish to sit the exam.
Pre-testing before arrival ensures students can begin classes on their first morning. Students are placed in groups according to their level.
Our English Language Family Programmes have been designed for parents and their children, grandparents and their grandchildren, uncles/aunts and their nieces or nephews. This is an ideal opportunity for those who wish to spend time together and combine an English language course with a wonderful family holiday in Ireland. It is a time to bond, improve your English, immerse yourself in a new culture and make friends from all over the world.
We are proud about the fact that many families come back to us year after year or tell their friends about us. While the parent(s), grandparent(s) etc and children aged 18+ participate in our General English Group Course Intensive, children aged 6 to 10 attend the Cool Kids Course and children aged 11 to 17 attend the Keen Teens Course.
Coming soon: Bildungsurlaub Recognition (Germany) for Language and Culture (Course and Activities) at Easter and in Summer.
