education: B.A., PGCE in Education Lisa Bartsch is the Managing Director of the school. Originally from Germany, Lisa worked for some years as a primary school teacher, and visited Ireland frequently in her free time. Eventually she decided to move here permanently and set up the Slaney Language Centre in 1999. Lisa loves Ireland, its nature and its people.
